Welcome to Dr. Adel Academy ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our website and services at adelacademy.org, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Dr. Adel Academy is an online tutoring platform that connects students with qualified tutors for lessons in Arabic language, Quran recitation with Tajweed, Islamic studies, and related subjects.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Users under 18 may use the platform only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on their behalf.

By creating an account, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and complete, and that you will keep it up-to-date.

We provide the following services:

• 1-on-1 Tutoring: Live, personalized online lessons with qualified tutors.
• Group Classes: Scheduled classes with multiple students on specific topics.
• Lesson Packages: Pre-paid bundles of lessons at discounted rates.
• Instant Lessons: On-demand lesson requests for immediate tutoring sessions.
• Free Trial Lesson: Every student's first lesson is a free trial lesson to assess level and discuss goals.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or are used fraudulently.

Lessons are booked through our platform. After booking, both the student and tutor will receive confirmation. Students may reschedule or cancel a lesson up to 2 hours before the scheduled start time without charge.

Cancellations made less than 2 hours before the lesson may be subject to a charge at the tutor's discretion.

If a tutor fails to attend a scheduled lesson ("no-show"), the student will receive a full refund for that session automatically.

All payments are processed through Tap Payments ("Tap"), our payment gateway. Tap Payments handles payment processing securely on our behalf.

By making a payment, you also agree to Tap Payments' Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

Prices are displayed in USD.

Students may purchase lesson packages at discounted rates. Packages are non-transferable and tied to the student and tutor they were created for.

If a student cancels a package, unused lessons are refunded. Used lessons are charged at the tutor's standard (non-discounted) hourly rate, and the remainder is refunded. See our Refund Policy for full details.

Tutors on our platform are expected to provide lessons professionally and punctually. Tutors set their own rates and availability.

Tutors are independent contractors and not employees of Dr. Adel Academy. We do not guarantee the outcome of any lessons or courses of study.

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Dr. Adel Academy or its content providers and is protected by intellectual property laws.

Lesson materials shared by tutors during sessions are for the personal use of the student and may not be redistributed or resold without express permission.

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Harass, abuse, or threaten any tutor or user.
• Attempt to circumvent the platform to arrange direct payments with tutors.
• Share your account credentials with third parties.
• Use automated tools to scrape or access our services.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dr. Adel Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We provide the platform "as is" and make no warranties regarding the quality of instruction, learning outcomes, or platform availability.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation by contacting us at info@adelacademy.org.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify registered users via email. Your continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
